I'm scheduled for RNY on May 11 2021. I'm 50 yrs old, 250lbs with chronic ankle, foot & knee pain. I backed out of surgery 10 years ago--chickened out! lol
I've twice tried medical weight loss with a blend of prescriptions. Both times I had success-50lbs. Naturally it came back with a few more lbs. After I chickened out 10 yrs ago I joined WW. I went to a Aqua Aerobics class, did home workouts w/ Richard Simmons & started walking . Once I was under 200 lbs I stared to go to a Zumba class!! I did this for about 4 years & lost about 65 lbs. Then .. My favorite Zumba instructor left, I Lost my Mom..I lost my fire.
I tried to maintain good habits & keep up my walking, but after some time I failed to stay on track.
This is my time to make a change for good!
Any words of encouragement, helpful hints are appreciated!
