Hi,
I am new to this forum. In January of this year, I underwent a route en y bypass, however it was revised because my goals aren't weight loss.
I had reflux for over 20 years and also gastroparesis. I had a Nissan fundiplication and a pyloroplasty prior to the bypass. Both surgeries failed.
The bypass seems as if is helping, however I am still in need of my feeding tube. This surgery has "caused a lot of mental and emotional , "trauma".
Weight loss was not the goal, however I lost 36 pounds and am in my "normal weight range". I no longer enjoy food or drinking liquids. Eating is such a chore and foods test different. I am not hungry and I've lost my desire to eat. Has anyone experienced something like this?
