It is done! Surgery itself went really well. Coming out of anesthesia was another story. Really rough, and the nurse made me feel a ton better by asking me to settle down because there were other people there. I couldn’t help it! Anyways, over night was good. I woke up on my own about every 15 minutes to drink. I walked quite a bit too. Headed home now to recuperate!

So happy for you! I know for me after the surgery was over, all the anxiety left me and my next "job" was to follow doctor's orders. Life will be so much better now!

Congrats! I've been on the other side too since the 19th how are you feeling?

Tired and sore. I’m more sore where they took out my gallbladder. But I’m staying hydrated, and I’m tracking my protein. As my surgeon was discharging me he was tell me about how the sprinkler system was being worked on and a pipe burst flooding his office, the offices below him, the pharmacy, and one of the surgical units!! Just glad I got my procedure done before all that craziness happened. My post op will be virtual instead of in office now because the fire marshal shut down all the flood damaged rooms for at least a week!
