One day under my belt

Hey everyone. I finally had my surgery. The sleeve. I feel good except when I drink or eat. My throat is still a little dry and sore from the tubing during the surgery.

My question to you guys is:

Did your stomachs hurt the first few days after surgery? As soon as I sip or nibble on something I get a dull stabbing feeling in my stomach..

How long will this last?

Congrats on the surgery. I don’t remember any pain like that. If it keeps going into tomorrow call your doctors office, even if it’s the exchange. Better safe than sorry.

I had the bypass, so I had a smaller stomach area wound. But I also had some stomach pain the first few days. I think it's normal. If you've ever had surgery previously and then used that body part, it can be uncomfortable. That being said. you can and should always check with your doctor or surgeon if you are having pain.
