One week post op

Finished up my one week post op virtual appointment. The doctor is pleased with everything so far, lost 16 lbs the first week. He wants me to check in next week to let them know how my bowels are going. He said that since the gallbladder was removed there’s more of a chance for loose movements, but he’s not overly concerned at this point. I can move onto the pureed phase now, but my husband is out of town for work until Thursday, so I’m waiting until he gets home to move on. I don’t want an emergency or anything bad to happen while I’m home alone with 3 kids.

Glad to hear you are doing so well. And it's a great idea to wait for hubby to be home before moving to the next phase. I did not have any major issues, and you probably wont either but better safe than sorry.
