It has been 7 1/2 months since my surgery. Does anyone else experience strong hunger pains only when they start eating? I make myself eat because I dont feel hungry and as soon as the first bites are taken I get very strong hunger pains that are uncomfortable. Also continue to have a lot of nausea when eating.

Maybe you should ask for him to check it out a little more. Because I have not heard of anything like that either.

I felt like hunger pangs after eating, too. The nurse suggested that I may have eaten too quickly and it could be gas. Gas-X was recommended and it worked. Slowing down and the Gas-X solved it for me.
Like anything else, keep in touch with your doctor, though.
