Pre-Op Diet

My surgeon's pre-op diet sounds really do-able. I was very nervous about what it was going to be but I'm thinking I can do this.

Breakfast: High Protein Liquid Supplement ( at least 20 ), 1 serving of fruit if needed
Lunch: High Protein Liquid Supplement
Dinner: 4 oz lean protein, veggies if needed, no starch
Snacks: veggies
Meals can be switched up to fit my day so the fruit can be a snack and dinner could be swapped for lunch.
High potency vitamin twice daily. Our normal water requirement.

Two weeks. This will be a challenge. I'm ready for the hospitals to begin scheduling again.

Glad the plan is finally in place, congrats! :) And your plan isn't obscenely restrictive like I've heard from others, this is a good start on how you'll be eating for life. :)

FYI, Healthy Choice dinners were just recalled by the FDA because of some bad meat.
NO, say it ain't true!!! I'll have to look it up because I eat the chicken/broccoli alfredo at least every other day. :(
