Psych evaluation

I have scheduled my appointment with the psychiatrist. The visit is almost $700. That seems like a lot. Does this seem normal to anyone who has also had the evaluation done?

 

Mine was about $175.

Was he/she a referral from your doctor? I never trust referrals. I always think they trade kickbacks, especially during elective surgeries where we feel vulnerable. Good on you for asking around first!
