I definitely agree with Diane, if your doctor didn't talk to you about all your meds, I'd make a point to ask him/her about it as soon as possible. You need the pros and cons of each so that you make informed decisions if changes should be made.

You might want to ask people to message you privately to answer this kind of question. Although we are very honest with each other, there are always things some people want to keep private without offending anyone else.

I should have said, go to any Pharmaceutical oversight site online and check the contraindications for any particular medication you're taking. If one of the side effects is weight gain, then you'll need to find out how big do weight gain could be oh, but you're already on these drugs and you were before you had the surgery so I should have said, go to any pharmaceutical oversight site online and check the contraindications of any particular medication you're taking. Also it seems to me like your surgeon, who took down all your medications and put them in your record, would have already cautioned you or told you that this medication can interact with that medication and stop your weight gain. But I have never heard of anyone having that experience.

I haven’t gained I was curious if it would affect my success especially since I talked about stalling. Thanks again I will be more sensitive to what I Share again I apologize

Christine, you definitely didn't do anything wrong at all! Diane was just telling you that you'd likely get more replies to this kind of a question if you asked people to reply to you in a private message since many folks may not feel comfortable sharing this kind of thing with the whole group (which includes visitors who aren't even members).

Many meds do lead to weight gain and can make it harder but sometimes, they're still worth that trade-off. Personally, I'm on two meds that are guilty of this. Before surgery, I discussed them with my doctor and stayed on both. If I start to see regain, I'll revisit other options.

You're 3 months post-op? Which surgery did you have?

I’m on one med. I ran out for a short time after surgery and noticed my weight lost numbers were higher when off the med. it’s a PRN med so I try to take only we I absolutely need to.
