Did anyone that has had a gastric bypass surgery have reflux before the surgery, and did the surgery help with it?

Yes it cured mine, that was the main reason I had it. A year out, and no issues since.

I had HORRIBLE reflux before bypass... I had already had the sleeve at that point, so the bypass was the only option as far as surgical treatments. I am SO happy I did have the bypass. ZERO reflux since.

My Dr suggested the rny b/c he said it would help with my reflux.
