So my one ears goes on these popping sprees and it is driving me nuts. It is the same ear every time and sometimes lasts 5 minutes and sometimes a day or 2. When it lasts longer is gives me a headache. It didn't start till after surgery, I haven't asked my surgeon yet.

I did have esophagus repairs and "trimming" done too, and isn't all that connected? Maybe that has something to do with it?

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or heard of it being related?

No joke I’ve been dealing with this issue with left ear. Not sure if it’s related to the surgery or current allergies/drainage. It’s not all the time for me, just occasionally, but it did happen today.

Mine is my left ear too, strange!! Was happening all day yesterday, drives me nuts.
I have developed allergies after surgery too, never had even a tid bit until now so I am on allergy meds but it doesn't help the popping. I will ask about it at my next follow up.

I had allergies before, but they’re worse right now. I wonder if the ear thing has something to do with the vagus nerve. No actual clue, but it’s something I’ve been curious about.
