Really Worried! About my old surgery

I hope someone can give me a answer Very soon Pleeease. It's been 20 years since my Gastroplasty surgery and was also banded on top and stapled underneath. Anyway in the toilet (I know gross) I had diarrhea AND a very small yellow rubber band in my bowels. Yes I washed it off ,I am right though. It also dropped down the sink drain! Pleeease help me. This name is also my Facebook name.

Unless you know without question how the rubber band got into your digestive system, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. If it is part of your gastric banding, that's easy to rule out and depending on how long ago you had the surgery it may or may not be something to be concerned about. If you're not feeling sick or bleeding or having some sort of digestive trouble don't be overly worried but do see a doctor as soon as possible, even if that means going to urgent care.
