My gastric sleeve surgery is next week. I will be in the hospital three or four days. I will be stocking up on some stuff according to the post op guidelines, but doubt I'll get it precise. Since I live alone, I am wondering about how long it will be before I am up for driving to the store for supplies. Also, days four through ten I am told to puree my food. Any suggestions on what foods I should have available for that time period? Do I puree with water or are there other options?
