I can't believe I'm three days out! At my pre-op appointment on Monday, my doctor told me I'm the first person on his schedule for Friday. The hospital won't call and tell me when to show up until Thursday, so I wait impatiently for that information. Though I assume it's going to be super early.

Has anyone gone through this that has autism and ADHD? I was wondering how bad the post-op period would be, especially with stimming.

Oh, thanks! My brain processed it the way I have to deal with other medical acronyms in my job.

I do also have complex PTSD, depression and anxiety. But since my stimming involves a lot of movement, I was worried how much pain it might actually create.

I am back after a long time off the site. I just want to encourage you and celebrate with you this step toward overall health. I had the best experience over the last year, my surgery was a year ago and I have lost over 100 pounds and feel amazing. Be patient with yourself as you deal with this lifestyle change, it is not sunshine and roses all the time, but it is beneficial.
