You will make it! When I prepared to be caffeine free, I slowly weaned off of it for approximately 6 weeks. I have been caffeine free for approximately 8 months now. I enjoy some decaffeinated drinks now. I also think getting rid of the caffeine helped get rid of or lessen some other food cravings.
I am 5 days post op from the sleeve. Per my dr (they are all so different), I can have non-dairy sugar free coffee. I’ve been sipping on a 7 Brew cookie butter today. Zero issues. I’m also type 2. It hasn’t raised my blood sugar. Hope this helps some
I just had my surgery on July 2. My surgeon said there’s nothing wrong with coffee other than it is a diuretic and may increase the risk of getting dehydrated. That’s why they don’t recommend it. During the first month, it’s recommended to focus on hydration and protein intake.
