Stomach gurgling and hunger pangs

I am three months post surgery and my stomach has started gurgling and am getting hunger pangs? Is this normal?

6 weeks out. Yesterday I felt that I was hungry, but didn't know whether to believe it. I think I really was. I at a chicken patty and it was very satisfying.
