Surgery approved for March 6, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I found out that my surgery was approved by my insurance and I am confirmed for March 6, 2018. I am nervous! Any tips from anyone? Any advice that I should follow? I appreciate any help...

Welcome to the group! Your journey will be unique, but with that said, as a sleeve patient be ready for slow but steady. When you read others on here, look under their names to know if they are bypass, DS, or sleeve, it does make a world of difference in the journey and weight loss. While you might feel like things are too slow and you are messing up, typically sleeve patients are like the tortoise and the hare, they are the little turtle but they are super successful over time! Hope all goes well, March 6th is around the corner to a new and healthier you!
