3 days out from surgery and I do have to say after initial pain and soreness that my pain is much better. Full clear liquid diet till I see my doctor for my one week check up. So far I have been tolerating the liquids fairly well and have been able to get in my 64oz of fluid. I did however have severe muscle cramping the first 2 days. Called my surgeon and we came to the conclusion that it was from the acid reflex medicine that I was prescribed. They have decided to stop it unless I have trouble with having heartburn. Since discontinuing this medicine I feel much better. I have been walking. Still a little sore getting up and down from a chair or couch but that is to be expected with abdominal surgery. I am just looking forward to feeling much better!!
