Just seeing your post! I had my VSG on October 03, 2025 and I think I've vomited 3 X since that day! Just don't consume anything you're not supposed to have or too much of what you do consume, in each phase after your procedure!
That surgery absorbed my life! I'm down 86 pounds (in 7 months). I'm still 38 pounds larger than I'm supposed to be, but its sloooowwwllly coming off!
Please, whatever you do, stick to your dietary restrictions post op! My Bariatric Surgeon and I just changed my entire diet! I'm not super excited about it, but i don't want ro be 38 pounds bigger than I should be either!
The most painful experience for me, was excruciating pain on the left side, where the largest portion of my Stomach was removed. Make sure you ask for something meds to control that! You won't feel it, until the anesthesia wears off!
I wish you the best of luck! And I'm praying for clear minds and steady hands for the ones performing your procedure and a good healing for you!
Ps: don't lift anything over a milk jug! You'll be moving slowly afterwards. Be sure to kove around, to avoid blood clots and try not to do too much bending. I also recommend you ask for Bariatric Vitamins! They'll help as You'll have days where your very tired and sluggish, where our hormones are changing!
