The scale is only one measurement

I’ve been on antibiotics for over a week for a microorganism they found when they did pathology on stomach portion removed. I’ve been holding at my 2 week post op weight for two weeks now. I’m following my program and doing what I’ve been told to do. This morning I measured and I’m down an inch in my waist. Just a reminder that we may not see it on the scale but it doesn’t mean stuff isn’t happening. In the past I’ve used the scale as my last measurement of weight loss but since surgery, it’s been easiest, so it’s been first. I’m glad I took measurements or I would be discouraged, even though I know weight stall is normal. Still messes with my head.

I don’t use a scale. My big victory is that I am fitting into clothes from 2016. I am so excited. I replaced elastic in one pair of shorts just to have a pair that actually fit. I have several pair of shorts that are starting to droop, and slide down. Which is kind of funny. Wait for me just gotta pull up my shorts.
