Trouble Eating Meat

Im having trouble eating any kind od meat. It will be 6yrs in March since my lap band surgery. Does anyone else that has had lap band have this problem?

Hmmm.... I wonder if anyone currently or previously on this site has had that issue.
I know there may be some people that have had the lap band converted to bypass or sleeve.
That just doesn't sound normal to me. Maybe you have had some slippage of the band.
What does your doctor say about that?

I don’t know they still did the band. Check in with you doctor.

Exactly what is your problem with meat? Do you mean it won't digest in your system? Or do you mean you have an aversion to it? Or is it the taste in your mouth or the texture of the meat? Or do you simply not have any desire for any type of meat?

It’s the texture for me. Meat and bread are still hard to swallow.

Yes, and that was the first clue that I was having erosion issue with my band that cause conversion surgery. I would get checked ASAP.
