Unexpected NSV

I went to my annual endocrinologist appointment today, and he said that I don’t need to see him anymore LOL He basically fired me He said that since my weight and blood sugar aren’t a concern, and my thyroid levels have been stable for a while now that he feels I don’t need an extra doctor. He said as long as my primary is comfortable taking over my thyroid Rx all should be good. He did say if she’s not then he’ll keep seeing me, but I’d LOVE not having another doctor (and medical bill!) This was not a NSV I was expecting! I love it!!

Yay you! What great news this is. This is a good reminder of why we had WLS. Seeing the scale numbers go down, although satisfying, is only one part of the overall journey to good, even better health.

I also like my doctors scale more because I weighed less than I did before I left the house LOL

My primary DR always weighs me 3-4 lbs more.. but the surgeons scale always weighs me 3-4 lbs less. So at home I am in the middle, which works for me. I use the surgeons weight for my updates and goals though. haha
