VSG Surgery on May 5th any advice ?

Change your eating habits now, and eat like you will when you have the surgery. Get your head together. Work on your eating disorder - the surgery won't change it or cure it. You will still struggle with it. Drink 8 glasses of water per day.

Having VSG surgery on May 5th. Can’t wait. Any tips?

Take it one day at a time. Mental preparedness is essential to future success. Please don't be a slave to the scales, I see some people weighing themselves daily. I wouldn't worry about it but maybe bi-weekly. The most important things you need to remember is Hydrate drink every 15 mins. Keep water with you at all times, next get those vitamins in. Third Protein get that protein in. Best of luck to you and remember you are worth it. In my prayers.

practice eating slower, sipping water. start exercising, walking, get into as good shape as you can before the surgery. this will help you get around and heal after the surgery.

Chew! Learn to chew your food well. Your new stomach will thank you. Drink water, plain, flavored however you can get it down.
Don't weigh yourself every day it will make you crazy.
