Water intake

Is anybody currently working in office? I work in office on Th/F. When I am alone in my office I do not have to mask but when I go to the main areas and with clients I have to be masked. Thursdays I am usually booked non stop.

I am finding it hard to get my water intake in on these days that I am pretty much masked for anywhere from 8 to 10 hours a day.

Working at home is easier cause I can constantly force it in. Despite the fact I talk a ton I'm not overly thirsty so it really is a force to drink enough
 
I can see where that would be hard - I hadn't even thought about that. I'm retired now but when I use to work and be on the phone most of the day I always needed a lot to drink - either water or coffee. That would be hard if you are with clients. I hope you can figure out a solution.
 
Until the end of December, I was working in a casino. Not only were we required to wear masks, but we were never allowed to drink on the floor, even pre-covid. I had to get a note from my doctor stating that I had to be able to have a water bottle and be allowed to drink from it as needed. I would always step a bit away, turn my back and only raise my mask as much as needed to get the water bottle to my mouth. A simple excuse me a moment should suffice. If you don't wish to explain the entire WLS deal, just tell them you are recovering from a bout of dehydration.
 
If I had to count JUST water with my 64 ounces of liquid - I'd never get more that maybe 30 ounces (and I'm being generous with 30oz) of actual water in daily. I'm able to count ALL my liquids with my 64 ounces. Most days I get 75oz in. But then there are some days it's a complete and total struggle. I've made it a habit to keep a cup with me all the time. Its become more of a habit of sipping than a need to drink. My shake mixture is the first to go in my cup - it's a big cup. My shake is about 25-30oz of liquid - so that one cup gets me almost half way to my 64oz. I takes me a while to consume all of the shake. Once I finish the shake - I fill it with s/f lemonade - no ice just lemonade. I sip on it till I get that down - if I get it all down - I fill up again.

My issue with all the liquid is that I sometimes forget to eat between all the sipping and bathroom stops. Some days are a true struggle to find the balance. Each day fresh start. Try to find a "groove" that works for you and allows you to get your water/liquid in.
