Well today I went scale shopping. I went to Costco, because we needed a lot of other things too. So I decided to try out the sample scale to make sure the readout was easily visible, because my husband is visually impaired and I wanted to make sure he'd be able to easily read it.
It didn’t have anything to do with the fact that I hadn't weighed myself in a few days, and was wondering what my current weight might be, so there would be no need for me to turn the scale over and adjust the setting from kg to lbs, or to set my purse on the shelf before stepping on the scale to test the readout.
So after I checked the readout was clearly visible, exactly like the one pictured on the box, imagine that, I tossed one in the cart and met up with Jack who was looking at vacuums and we continued shopping for another hour or so.
We finally finished, get out to the car and I have no keys. Jack has his, but mine are gone, because my purse is gone. I have absolutely no memory of putting it down. I run back into the store in a panic. I had a lot of cash in my wallet and several credit cards! I had little hope of finding it intact.
It had been turned in, and everything was there. All of the cash, all of the cards. Everything! If I knew who turned it in, I would give them half of the cash I had just for being so honest!
It's so weird, when I'm so afraid of bad people, someone comes and does something so good!
