My surgery is tomorrow Of course I've been following the pre op diet. But I'm worried, perhaps needlessly. I understand that the fat from the liver needs to be reduced or eliminated so that the procedure can be done. My dietitian mentioned in one of the classes that my surgeon has been known to abort the operation when livers were too fatty. I'd be very disappointed if this happens to me.

@RoyT I to have the same concerns as you do , although my surgery isn't until sept16th and I am on a month liquid diet so I am concerned as well but you got this , I wish you all the luck tomorrow and I will keep you in thought and prayer as your day arises. Your gonna be fine

Diane, I was reading posts tonight and when I read your advice to Roy, I saw the word alfulizing. It's the first time I've ever seen that word in print and just love it. I guess that's me, I'm an alfulizer, I always am worried about things going wrong, etc. Thank you for putting this on my face tonight
