I am about 8 months out and have some of the same feelings. I am currently at 143 and don't want to be any lower than 135. I also see the flabby's everywhere. I feel pretty good though. Congrats on your journey :)
all of my vitamins were chewables for the first 6 months. You can go to the Bariatric Advantage site and they offer all of them in chewable form. Vitamin D was in liquid.
thank you all! Your comment and advice are greatly appreciated. I have tried some of the Smart Ones meals and some of them go down pretty good. I can only eat about 1/3 of the meal at a time but it is nice to have a little variety. Just joined a gym and going to go check that out. Hopefully...

I decided to lay off the skim milk. I was having it with my cream soups. thought that might be the problem. It is a little better today. I have been having a hard time lately getting in everything, just because of the gas pressure. I see the dr. tomorrow so hopefully he has some answers.

I use the pure protein premixed shakes from walmart. The cost is about $8.00 for a 4 pack. I am also using the walmart brand whey protein. I mix it with warm water, Not hot. It is almost like hot chocolate and is 28 grams of protein per serving. I mix it with about 4-6 oz of water.
I too had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago. Dec 14th. Still on the full liquids. I have been having a hard time with what feels like gas stuck up under my ribs. Any suggestions?
