    My GB date is getting near!

    I am 49 and will be getting a GB sometime in the next two or three months. I was wondering if I am going to miss big meals or will I feel like not eating? Did anyone get depressed as a result?

    Depression

    Im new and have been experiencing some depression due to the fact that I cant eat what I use to or want to eat. Not depressed because I cant overeat, but just due to the fact that I can only tolerate 2 bites and im done. Prior to the surgery, I loved to cook.

    How many of had the gastric bypass, I cant have a sleeve?

    I was all set for a sleeve and have to have a bypass instead and I am not sure I want to do that. Only choice I have due to stomach surgery for medical reasons years ago. I am really disappointed. I am 62 and just want to get something done.
