I am new to this site, but not a newbie for bariatric surgery.
I had VSG IN 10/11, in NY, & lost 202 pounds. Went from a size 32-34 to 10-12.
I has plastic surgery to remove over 40 pounds of excess skin.
Having always battled weight for a long time, this seemed to be a helpful solution.
Weight loss surgery is only one of many tools in the arsenal against gaining weight.
It was, & continues to be hated work! It is not magic. I have had to work hard, follow the "rules" , to maintain my current status. Can't let previous bad habits return.
