Good morning. I was sleeved 5 days ago along with a small hiatal hernia repair. I keep getting cramps in my upper stomach. Sometimes after I drink something or even first thing in morning. There really is no pattern. Did anyone else experience these cramps?

Cramps may be that some air is still inside of you. It will pass in a few weeks.

I agree that it may be air, or it may be your hernia repairing. I had an umbilical one repaired before bypass surgery. I had some rather odd pains while it healed. Pressure being the main one.

Some, doctor had already told me was to be expected, gave me hycosamine for it, after first week has been seldom. Hycosamine worked great.
