1 month post op and i feel like im at a weight loss stall

I'm one-month post-op RNY GB which was on August 7, 2019. I've lost 40lbs so far from the pre-op stage until now. I feel like I'm at a weight-loss stall. Is this common or is it just me.

40lbs is the most amazing progress, well done. And it is common to have plateaus, don’t panic.

Congrats, and yes it is very common. It happened to me. Tomorrow is my 10 week anniversary and the scale has been moving again. I was stalled for a good 6 weeks. So very depressing! I have lost 34 pounds and I have to be happy with that. Someone here said in another thread that "the body will do what it's going to do". We just have to work the plan and be patient.

I bet it's still disappointing you are staying away from all your favorites and doing your stage eating then the scale is even moving. I k how felt that way before surgery. I was eating water and couldn't even lose 1 lb.
