I am still bearly keep shakes down.
1oz of strawberry shake is all I can drink in a setting maybe 2 in an hour. Can finally drink 3oz of crystal light at one time. Only drinking 16 to 20oz of water. Is this normal?

Maybe change up the shakes? Try broth/soup that is savory - I know that I had a hard time at times because everything was sweet, but once I added even a few spoonfuls of broth or soup it was really helpful. There are some that you can brew like tea on Amazon that are really tasty and make just a small cup.

I'm more worried about your fluids, you really need to get up to 64 oz between everything. Dehydration is nothing to play with, please talk to your doctor.

I'm trying to eat and drink as much as I can. Since the surgery my diabetes is under control. I'm drinking the protein shakes as much as I can it's the liquid intake but I'm 10 days out from the surgery. I have been able to eat chicken and beef broth and I ate a few bites of chicken and rice soup.

Popsicles also count the warm chicken and beef broth slowly was always good. Felt good to the tummy also.
I found i can tolerate all liquids I drink if it’s over ice. Just sips. Brenda is so right about dehydration. It’s no fun.

Try premier shakes from Walmart. They are thin, not thick so there easier to go down and they taste great! I know I recommend this brand to everyone, but I love it and I recommended it to someone in my drs office and they hated all types of shakes until they tried the peach like I suggested and no he’s drinking them all the time.

I love the banana and Carmel

oh yea I love the banana and caramel over a little ice.

You can get them at Costco and Target Ralph’s if you have one
I order them by the case from Amazon, it saves me a little money this way.

Thank you ladies. I'm trying to follow all the dr orders and the diet. One issue is that I dont drink milk or eat eggs. I cant stand the taste of either.
I don't either, gross. ;)

One thing helped me tolerate eggs during the soft food stage - I scrambled with some salsa and shredded cheddar cheese. It masked the flavor enough to choke them down.
