3 months post op and not losing,

I'm 6 weeks out and limited to 1/2 cup food at a meal. I can't tell if I'm full. One day I overate a lot and felt full up to my gullet. No pain; just very uncomfortable. I want to eat more, but am sticking with the prescribed regimen of my clinic.
Per the manual I got, I will be limited to 1/2 cup per meal (5 per day), and at 6 months can go up to 3/4 cup.
Did you get any kind of instructions for your eating plan from your clinic?

Every program seems to be different. Here are the guidelines my surgeon gave:

Months 1-2: 2 oz per meal (4 tbsp or 1/4 cup)
Months 3-4: 3 oz per meal (6 tbsp of food)
Months 5-6: 4 oz per meal (8 tbsp or half cup)
Months 7-9: 5 oz per meal (10 tbsp)
Months 10-12: 6 oz per meal (12 tbsp or 3/4 cup)
Months 12-18: 7 oz per meal (14 tbsp)
After month 18: 8 oz (1 cup)

My tax lady's daughter had the same issue. Now she is dropping weight like crazy. Try not to over think about losing weight. The other day I told someone I lost 37lbs in 2 months and they said, " that's all. I thought you would of lost more." I shrugged it off. Be patient. The group hear told me not to focus on the amount of lbs.

I'm sooooo glad that you were able to let this go, I don't know if I would have been able to keep my cool after this comment! Grr...

I'm down to 280. Started at 379lbs. Had my surgery at 317. I'm walking and using a paddle bike 3 times a week. I want to start exercising more but I have big concerns about dehydration. That's one of my biggest complications. First I could bearly drink 8oz in a day. Now I can drink 3 16 oz bottles of water. On is Tea. Walk over 6000 steps a day. I have been using a Fitbit to keep track.
