Hello and good evening to my Bariatric Surgery Fam!
Its meeeee again!
Tomorrow will be my 8 month mark, post-op Gastric Sleeve!
I've been mentally struggling, and am exhausted! at still holding 32 excess pounds. It's definitely in my belly and fat-back!
My belly is not my best asset---> never has been! :-|
My body has developed a lot of loose skin on the arms, thighs and starting on the belly. And Ya'll, my legs used to be sooo nice! I can barely stand to look in the mirror right now!
I honestly did not have a weight loss goal (number) in mind! I just knew I needed my body to be healthier, and last a little longer. As of today, I'm still 13 pounds away from the 100 pound mark.
Does anyone else or, has anyone else struggled with the same or similar battle?
I feel like I'm losing the weight-loss battle! (Needless to say, I also feel like I'm close to being put in a straight jacket too). :-[
On a positive note, my feet have gone down 2 shoe sizes! That part stunned my doctor!
My goal from June 3rd to my one year mark, October 3rd is to have shed the excess 32 pounds. I had planned on going back to the basics (liquid diet) for the last 10 days in May
...didn't make much progress there.
Any ideas or support would be much appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read my Uber depressing rant!
