Hi All,
Well I can finally start using months in post op updates
3 MONTHS POST OP!! WOOOHOOO! I'm doing ok. I think we will be forever learning but as I watch the scale go up and down and stop, I am learning.
Learning to be concious of what I'm eating, concious of how much I'm eating. Learning when my pouch says "Girl you are done!"
One thing I am struggling with is, forgetting to eat if I'm busy I do not get hungry.
I'm learning that I do not have to finish what is on my plate. Learning to eat protein first, which is very strange because why bother putting anything else on it lol.
I am away with my hubby so no scale here, very nerve wracking for me but I'm getting through and being very aware of myself and how I feel. We went out for dinner 1 night and I was disappointed with my meal.. does Thai shrimp sound like it should be deep fried and breaded? Not to me, I had visions of a grilled shrimp in a saucy vegetable dish. I just did tge nest I could until I got home and had my coffee protein.
I have been doing chocolate protein powder in my coffee each day, morning and night and my thinning hair is beginning to reverse.
I'm finding more protein filled meals and creating my own substitutes for family favorites. Changing up recipes that sound good so that they fit into my new lifestyle and are healthier even for my family.
New stats as of leaving honme my weight was 208.6 (from starting 244)
Pj size Xl
My size 18 pants I finally got back into are now loose
From shirts 3x down to 2x now they are loose but most xl are still snug so I'm sticking with loose 2x for a bit. If I can find 1x I may try that
Hope you all are feeling great and learning as well.
Please post your updates, struggles and nsv.
Finally also fitting vitamins in except I hate the chewable calcium.
