4 years out after gastric bypass. Started regaining weight. Recent ultrasound and found the sleeve has detached from esophagus--reason by wt. gain?

Sleeve is just sealing off most of stomach to make smaller . Nothing changes with esophagus and stomach connection

If esophagus is detached all food and liquids would be dumping into your chest cavity !

I would not let anyone do anything until they completely explained everything because you are talking about two different surgeries. The Bypass is one and the band is the other. I haven't heard anyone losing more than 75 lbs on this I had to have the bypass I was 356 now staying at 109 Total gastric bypass in 200
