ADVICE PLEASE! Only 4lbs lost in a two weeks?! Post gastric bypass.

My Sleeve to Gastric Bypass revision was Aug 10th. I'm really worried, I've only lost 4lbs since my primary care Doctors appointment on Aug 21st. Maybe I'm not eating enough protein. I'm still on liquids/pureed (doctor told me I could do this as long as I wanted to drop weight faster) so it just doesn't make sense to me. I do have broth with minced chicken breast sometimes and yogurt in addition to my daily whey protein shakes. (They are the premier protein)

I am getting in 64oz or more water a day, I'm fairly active plus I do squats and arm exercises daily. It just DOESNT make sense to me. Maybe I'm not eating enough protein??? I probably get 50 to 60 grams a day. I do have sugar free jello 2x a day...maybe its the artificial sugar....still doesn't make sense...its JELLO! My blood work also came back with these levels. My energy level sucks even though apparently my b12 is very high. I feel like sleeping most of the day even though I push through it. I am getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. Also my ferritin level are quite low. Please help me, I need all the advice! o_O

Thank you both for the response and I know from my previous surgery what to do and what not to do, this is why I am taking it slow, getting my water in and not over eating AT ALL. Currently my snacks consist of water sips haha I am logging everything from the first day I got home. I have my nutritionist appointment today at 1:30 so I will let you all know what she says but I am pretty upset. As far as inches lost, I am tracking my measurements weekly and I have lost about an inch in two weeks which again seems odd. To my fiancé I look so tiny.. because he met me when I was 390lbs....so that doesn't count haha

Hello this is my first post & I had to reply, I also had my gastric bypass surgery revision on aug. 19 and have only lost 7 pounds so far. Also I’m 15 days out and was wanting to know if cream of wheat is safe now I’m really scared to eat.

I believe you are in the purée plan. If you are, then cream of wheat is fine. I make mine with 1 percent milk and add a half scoop unflavored protein powder.

Alright guys so I just got off the phone with my nutritionist and she said that is SOOO common in Revision patients for the weight to drop slower then a normal gastric bypass, especially in women. Yay us! She said that we just need to weigh once a month...or week if we can and that we will lose inches vs the scale. Also to increase pure whey isolate protein and not the premier protein stuff because even though it says 30 grams, its NOT! Its only about 16 because its from a concentrate. Also to keep up the water intake and get my vitamins check every month. She increased my D3 and my iron due to a slight deficiency, which she said would help my mood and energy. My overall outcome from the visit was just to keep doing what im doing and sadly its going to be much slower then normal bariatric patients and only to weigh once a week (I told her I couldn't do once a month haha).
