Hi I’m Marley:
After many attempts to lose weight, I decided to have bariatric surgery. I’m looking for a support group that I can lean on as I await the surgeon to schedule the date and time. I’m excited about the journey.

I keep reminding myself that the post-op pain will be minor compared to the life-changing benefits and blessings it will bring. Kind of like giving birth, HAHA!

Thank you! That's why I searched out support groups, to get as much advice as possible from those who've been there. Best of luck getting your date soon. Maybe we'll be around the same time and can compare notes, lol. Which surgery are you having? I'm going for the sleeve. Tentative date is 2/15, but need to get that confirmed. I also need to know when to start the pre-op diet and all the little details I don't know yet. Sorry for the novel, and again, hope you get your date soon!

You will find many helpful articles there. Diane's post-op nutrition guide, pre-surgery buying, and the one about a member's surgery experience are so useful.
