im nikki and new to this, me and my mum are going to belgium for a gastric bypass in january.
Any advice on what do before and after would be great.

Welcome aboard nikki! You've found the right place for support and information. I haven't had my surgery yet but I can say that you should get yourself in the best possible shape/fitness before surgery that you can.
It will help you recover quicker.
