I just wanted to share the website for the 4 free at home Covid tests provided by the federal government. The website is covidtests.gov

I'm not sure how to copy & paste the link. It is ready to go tomorrow, although you can preview it today.

Hope everyone that wants one can take advantage of this.

Ordered for my house, mom, father in law, godmother, and told my sisters, aunt, and a few friends about this. Glad you posted this so others can get it if they want!

They opened the site a day ahead of time, perhaps they were worried of the high traffic. Was happy that it was so easy to order.

My granddaughter and daughter have it now. I did a test to make sure that when I saw them last I didn't get exposed. My test was negative but will retest again tomorrow. Luckily when I saw them the last time I asked them to wear masks.

Unfortunately the website won't download the ordering webpage, so I can't order my at home tests. Wish they had included a phone # to order. Now I'm bummed.

There is suppose to be a phone number to call for those that don't have internet access. Also, keep trying. It could just be that there was a bottleneck causing it to be unresponsive due to volume.

For those who don’t have access to a computer or an internet connection, the government has also set up a phone line. For now, that number is the same number that the government’s vaccine hotline: 1-800-232-0233. This number is the only option for ordering the federal government’s free tests without visiting the online portal. You will not be able to stop by a local post office and pick up the tests in person.

Thank you Judy. That's the plan, fer sure. But unfortunately I live in a mostly maskless building in a maskless state where it seems almost a badge of honor to be that way. The heck with my health & my husband's, as long as someone else has their "freedom" potentionally to infect us. Yikes!

Yikes is right. I just don't get it. Here in south eastern NY people are pretty compliant. There's always a few that aren't but for the most part we aren't doing too bad with it. Better than what I saw when I went to Florida and watched people from all over be non compliant. Hopefully I didn't pick up anything. I did do 2 Covid tests so far and they were good but it would have been too soon for the last couple of days there. Fingers crossed.

Well, I did call my doc and she scheduled me for a second booster. I'm 10 months out from my triple-vax and stay close to home 99% of the time. But there's still a possibility of breakthrough infection. I do not want to die from this, or even contract a mild case of it.

Wow that's awesome Diane. How long between your 1st and 2nd boosters? I would LOVE for hubby & me to get booster #2.
