I am about 10 weeks post op, and have been enjoying all my high protein foods. My carbs are usually fruit or starchy vegetables. I’ve had very little rice, bread or pasta, and for now, for the most part, i am not missing them.
Yesterday, while helping with a busy fund raising event with an irish theme, i had a piece of irish soda bread… (a slightly sweet bread with raisins). i nibbled little bites over a couple hour span while working on set up, so it never bothered my new tummy…
Today i am feeling totally exhausted. I don’t know if this is due to a hectic 16 hour day, or the inflammatory ingredients in the bread, or both…
Does anyone know how long it takes for the ingredients in bread to clear your system?
