chest pains

i am one month post op and i am having chest pains. it started tuesday and i also have a sore throat and some coughing. i went to my pcp on thursday because the pains were getting worse. she did an ekg and a chest/abdomin xray. she said my heart and lungs are fine but that i am constipated. gross i know. but the truth is i'm not. i have been in the past, really bad and never had chest pains. i'm wondering if anyone else has had this?

You should call your Bariatric doctor, I have not experienced the chest pains, but I have had the constipation, my doctor told me it was from the iron. It may be some kind of blockage you have if our doctor had seen it on the x-ray, i don't know how the would relate to chest pains but it could, please look into this further until you find out for sure.
