Colonoscopy

But from what I've researched, that is common. Every surgeon has their own set of tests and also depends on what the insurance company requires.
Thank you for letting me know. I haven't had one and don't want to but I don't know if I should address this now with MD. My appointment is July 17th. Or try to schedule before my appointment. I have Medicare not sure what they require. But thanks!

I have medicare/ gateway(ruby). I had several tests and 6 months of weigh ins. The tests were endoscopy, mammogram, chest xray, sleep study, cardiac stress test, pulmonary, ekg, psycholgist, bloodwork, nutritionist, support group, pcp medical clearance, stool test. After everything was submitted i was approved in 6 days. But its my understanding that each surgeon has their own regimate of test. Good luck to you@

It all goes by your healthy history as well. Younger people may not need as much. Different things for different people. They are checking for all health problems. If you have had a health problem in the past they will check it before hand. I know I was scheduled for may 6th and when they seen that I had a mini heart attack in the past the put my stuff on hold for me to go to the heart doctor. So everything is different for everyone.
