Today 6/4/26, I had my first weight gain since Surgery. I am in the Puree phase. I follow my doctors instructions to the tee. I put 2 lbs from yesterday. 265.3 to 267.2. I am not to concerned by this. I was very inactive yesterday. So what little I did eat. I didnt really burn off. A simple 1/4 mile walk does the trick. I am posting this to let anyone who had this happen to not panic. This has been my weight loss journey since I started a year ago. Just keep aware and stay disciplined. I understand it's not easy, but we have all gone this far. Let's keep up the hard work.

I would like to encourage you to stay off the scale. In the first place, scales are always inaccurate. But in the more important place, counting pounds and calories and tracking every step is the kind of torture so many of us with eating disorders are obsessed with, and they do not help. I appreciate your desire to encourage others. I'd like to offer you some encouragement: walk for joy, eat healthy and delicious food and realize the incredible breadth of your journey. The pounds and ounces don't matter. What matters is the love you're showing yourself.
