I know you’ve heard it before from others but I’m tired of the limited food I can have . My puréed stage should end Tuesday when I see the assistant Surgeon . I guess I will be starting on soft food but from what I have learned and read there’s not much difference in soft food and puréed food. I’m sick of the protein shakes ( I can deal with chocolate) but the others make me gag. Since I don’t like chicken or fish I’m really limited to what can be puréed. I’m not at all sorry I got the surgery I’m glad I got it and knew I would be eating this way but now I’m kinda sick of it. No I don’t want to go back to eating burgers, fries, chips . Donuts and all that other junk food . But it would be nice to eat something different for a change. I’ve been eating Chilli, retried beans, mashed potatoes, jello, applesauce, puréed hamburger sometimes, puréed pizza Casserole which is ok , puréed turkey and cottage cheese. I don’t ever want to cheat I want to lose weight but this diet sucks and having to wait for maybe 6 months to a year to try something different is a long time

Forgot to mention I’ve really been not that hungry at all I think mostly because i have this bad taste n my mouth all the time and I always feel full even if I don’t eat

I see you don't like fish but...white albacore tuna has a milder taste, might be worth a go. Mix with chopped dill pickles or a little mayo or Olive oil. Another idea is tofu, I didn't try it myself but I meant to.

So but I’m going to go on hiatus for a while. My wife thinks I’m giving out too much information on here .I think she’s jealous. I will be back sometime eventually. In the meantime good luck to everyone.

Good luck with the surgeon . We will miss you here.

Did taxes for over 35 years ☹️. The last 23 as part of a trust company. The sedentary lifestyle I lived (60 - 80+ hours a week from mid January to mid April) contributed to my weight gain. No exercise and junk food in the break room make it impossible to stay slim.

Like you, I'm getting sick of eating grits and yogurt. On Feb. 14 I can add eggs, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese and a few other things. I'm so looking forward to eating an egg. BTW, Bill, don't leave us! It's valid for you to get support.
