Hey y'all,
I'm Cat. I'm 37 years old, live in Canada and I had my gastric sleeve this Wednesday, the 25th of February. I had been waiting for about 2 years for it, and I thought I knew what I was getting into.
Holy moley, I didn't.
My close family know about the surgery. My friends and co-workers don't. I cannot face more judgements than I already live in my everyday life.
I knew it would be hard, but the pain is pretty bad. And I am usually good with pain! Every sip is like my stomach is twisting, my abs (where they pulled the stomach through) is so painful I can barely lay dowb. And I mean, I've had natural births! I thought I knew.
I feel lonely and tired, and I wish I had some people to talk to. My sister is also trying to lose weight the "good old way" and I'm proud of her. It's painful still when she talks about meal prep and her special snacks and I'm like... well can't even eat two spoonful of yogourt without cramping...
Oh well.
Hit me up if you wanna chat, please. Doesn't quite show, but I'm a funny person! Haha

I would try room temp water and warm water. I know for me anything cold at first would hurt bc it would make my insides draw up more but room temp would keep it from happening. It does get so much better the farther out you get Don't worry about the judgements or the haters they're only self projecting on to you what they are too scared to face in themselves.
