Hi, I’m Sunny. I had VSG last December. Was attending a support group before Covid hit, but the hospital dumped pre-surgical and post-surgical all in the same virtual support group, and it seems structured to be more about helping those coming to bariatric surgery rather than the folks after it, so I thought I’d try this forum.

Hi Sunny I am new to this group about amount a month ago I was having questions about different things and worrying cause i had stopped loosing weight but the people in this group were able to get me pass that and as they said I did start loosing the weight again. There are a lot of people in here who have been through the same issues as you at one point or another and are able to give you their experiences that could help you. Welcome to the group.

Welcome! I’ve been here since January. I have 2 preop appointments left before being scheduled for bypass. This is a great and open group of people at all different stages of the process.

We are all in this together. We have all have the same thoughts and feelings. The only way is to look up. Your day will come. One more doctor appointment for me, then wait on medicare and the surgeon. Yeh!
