Hello - I hope it's ok to post here - I thought this would be a great place where I may find people interested in helping.

I'm the UK based producer on the hugely successful documentary style TV show Supersize Vs Superskinny, now in it's sixth season airing on Channel 4 in the UK. The series is presented by Dr Christian Jessen and each season we film eight stories of people with morbid obesity and connect them with a UK person taking part in the show, who is also morbidly obese and together they give each other support as they try to approach a new healthier lifestyle. I'm reaching out all over the USA to find potential contributors.

To give you an idea of the type of people we are looking for, see the story on Pauline Potter: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/06/guinness-pauline-potter-worlds-heaviest-woman_n_950270.html - who appeared in season 5. I realize Pauline is a unique case but we are looking for people to match our UK contributors who are over 400lb, many of them weigh more than 500lb (yes the UK is quickly catching up with the US).

The show is hosted by Dr Jessen, who is hugely popular in both the UK and USA and has over 250,000 followers on Twitter. Dr Jessen would be meeting all of our US contributors.

We are aiming to film our US contributor stories in September, which is just around the corner so I tam really keen to hear from anyone interested - or anyone that knows someone who may be interested - as soon as possible.

Here is the link to the series - although video's on the site may not play in your country.

Many thanks indeed - Keaton
