Hope everyone has a HAPPY 4TH!!!

I spent the day at 6 flags on Saturday(10 hours) and Smithsonian's National Zoo in DC on Sunday(7 hours). Laid around watching movies on Monday.
It is so much easier now! My feet and ankles don't swell up. I keep up without a problem with everyone else without effort.
Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
Oh wow I looove the National Zoo. Sounds like a wonderful weekend, and celebrating NSVs is great!

Our city had a wonderful fireworks show on Friday over the river. My husband & I, my surgery twin and her kids, and several residents of our apartment building watched from the front patio area.

Our building mgmt had a holiday cookout for the residents earlier that day. I ate my grilled burger on romaine lettuce with a slice of tomato, onion, and cheese - no bun! - and a couple spoonfuls of baked beans. I enjoyed their grilled hotdog later WV-style with mustard, onions, sauce and slaw, plus a sprinkle of shredded cheese and 1/2 of a bun. So much better than past cookout foods!

Hope y'all enjoyed this holiday as much as we did.

I stayed in with my puppies to ease their anxiety. I live in west central Illinois right across the river to Missouri. They sell massive amounts of fireworks and they have been going off in the neighborhood since early June. I am so tired of fireworks and cleaning the stuff out of my pool.

I went to six flags Georgia a couple weeks ago. I couldn't ride any of the coasters. I plan on going back next year and riding them all.
