Just had surgery 3 days ago

Hi I just had surgery on Monday August 12 I am feeling a lot of pain on my right side is this normal

Maybe. I had intense pain on my left side for about 4 days. I had a bypass with gallbladder removal and though the gb is on the right side, they reach through and pull it out on the left side. So with 6 incisions/entry points, the one that really hurt was the main access point on the left.

Hi Tamara....I wonder if it's gas pain, which dissipates with walking. If it's surgery pain, take one of your pain meds to see if it relieves it. If not, I'd suggest contacting your doc's office, but the gas pain can be a bear!....Walk, walk, walk....and stay hydrated. Best wishes dearie!
